Rose
Rose is pleased to be known among her friends for her personal fashion sense; she makes fashion trends “her own” by finding unique clothing. She likes to play her flute at nursing homes and raise money for cancer sufferers. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with friends, reading and going to school. Go Rose!

Kayla
Kayla intentionally leads by positive example. She knows, because she formerly had low self-confidence, and now has deliberately changed. “A negative mind won’t get you far,” she says. She likes to share her personal experience and inspire others to make changes in themselves. She feels close to her parents, whom she considers her heroes. She enjoys the moment—living and breathing—and new adventures. In her free time, Kayla models, reads and writes.

Rachel
Zelaz Girl Rachel takes action where she sees needs! She painted a school and helped organize a kids club in Jamaica. Every winter, she and her father spend a few nights sleeping outdoors to raise money for homeless people. Besides volunteering, Rachel also enjoys camping, singing, playing soccer and hanging with friends.

Molly
Style exudes from the inside out with this Zelaz Girl. Molly refuses to give in to the status quo and is not afraid to stand up for herself and her friends when it comes to important matters in life. Molly delivers hope and compassion to families who have experienced homelessness by donating clothes and furniture. She also shows respect to the environment and her neighbors by cleaning up the park by her home. In addition to dance, tennis, and yoga, she likes hanging out with friends and practicing driving.

Sara
Sara doesn’t judge others and treats everyone she meets with respect. Plus, she loves fashion, shopping, and dressing up—a perfect combination for a Zelaz Girl. Sara prides herself on having an open mind and a kind heart. She spends time volunteering at church and school to help others in need. And in her free time she loves to dance, travel, and play with kids.

Stephanie
Stephanie is a Zelaz Girl because she is a free-spirited, high-hoped individual who is never afraid to be herself. Stephanie shows her love for the environment and her fashion-forward style by accessorizing with recycled totes, bangles, or other repurposed relics. For the past decade, Stephanie and her sister, Shannon, have been donating time and energy toward charitable dance performances at retirement homes during the holiday seasons. Stephanie says, “My favorite part is when you end the show and see the people smile.” She also likes to participate in school sports and choir, and spends time walking alone to reflect on life. |

Bree
Bree is a true Zelaz Girl because she cares for others. She is willing to donate her time to make a difference in the world by volunteering whenever possible. Bree works to create peace in the world and knows that a great way to achieve that goal is by helping others who have less. Now that’s inspiring! |

Morgan
This Zelaz Girl is making a difference in her community. Morgan takes time to help clean-up parks in her neighborhood and has provided volunteer assistance at a local emergency program to help people in need. When Morgan is not aiding others, she enjoys playing sports, taking photos, and listening to music. |

Say hello to Melana. Melana is a true Zelaz Girl who is inspired to help other girls around the world and she encourages you to join her in the effort. Melana likes to swim in her free time. And she helps others in her community by donating material items and money. Way to go Melana!

Alex
Meet Alex. Alex was the inspiration for Zelaz because she likes to step out of the pack with something fun and unique. She cares deeply for her friends and her five pets at home. And she shows her vibrant enthusiasm in everything she does. For instance, Alex and her grandmother recently made fleece blankets for kids in temporary housing facilities. In her free time, she does gymnastics and plays soccer. |
